Chöd Trommel groß Sehr gut
This Chö drum is a hand-made ritual instrument and its size is particularly suitable for men
Their sound is unmatched. Each drum is produced using centuries-old precision and traditional methods. Only the best qualities of wood are used. Each drum has a cotton handle that ensures a comfortable hold even during long periods of use. Cowrie shells were used for the band all around. The damaru cord is made of high quality brocade. The drum should be stored in the bag provided for protection and when not in use. Each bag is lined with felt, moisture is absorbed, the drum stays dry.
The Chö or Chod teachings cultivate fearlessness, certainty, sustained compassion, and connect us to our deepest core. The unique combination of sacred song, ritual instruments, meditation and visualization creates a rich fabric that renews our everyday experience and redefines our limited self-understanding. It is also the practice of ultimate and sustained generosity that soothes the illness, suffering and spiritual blindness of sentient beings and heals disturbed environmental energies.
The history of Chod spans a thousand years, although its true origin is timeless and beyond human comprehension. With roots deep in Mahayana Buddhism and Tantra Vajrayana, he integrates practical elements of Bon and Shamanism and creates a dynamic and powerful personal path of spiritual development and support for others.
