Amitayus

Buddha Amitayus is the Buddha of long life, good fortune and wisdom.

He is depicted as red in colour, holding a life vase brimming with the nectar of immortality.

Buddha Amitayus is the samboghakaya "enjoyment body" of Buddha Amitabha who is the "emanation body".

Buddha Amitayus is practised extensively in Tibetan Buddhism and New Kadampa Tradition.
