Sarira des 1. Karmapas

The sariras described here are also a gift from two lamas from Tibet and Rumtek who are friends of Lama Löden Tamang, so that we can continue to support Lama Löden's Buddhist and humanitarian projects.

The dark red rings (Tibetan name for sariras) mentioned here are extremely valuable - the lama told us that they are sariras from the cremation stupa of the 1st Karmapa Dusum Kyenpa. We were told that they were created there in the ashes and embody Karmapa's enlightenment power.
